Steven Dale

Admitted in January 1983, following a career that had already spanned 15 years as a commercial litigator. Although specialising particularly in property disputes (both residential and commercial), he has a proven track record in areas as diverse as negligence, insolvency, contractual and construction disputes.
He was involved in one of the most important Death Row cases for the Caribbean decided in the last ten years by the Judicial Committee of the Privy Counsel.
Away from the office, Steven enjoys reading - mainly factual material but has a strong addiction to Le Carre novels, cinema, theatre, sport and good food, although the "good food" has now prevailed over the sport to the extent that the latter is now more often a matter of armchair viewing. Until recently he was the voluntary Child Protection Officer for a church in Hoddesdon, Herts.
Steven has been involved in the following reported cases:-
- London & Associated Investment Trust -v- Calow
- Chiltern Court -v- Wallabrook
- Westpac -v- Tager
- Charville -v- Unipart
- Guardcliffe -v- St James
